heirloom quality German Made furniture and accessories for the home. Nestled in the Hilltowns of the Catskill Mountains, we are a small privately owned woodworking shop. The products seen within this site are created out of the joy of creating beautiful objects and bringing out the natural beauty contained within a piece of wood from a fallen tree(s) or one that was unwanted and destined to be used as landfill. Creating the items seen here is much more than a hobby, it has become a form of pain relief therapy. Suffering from permanent spinal cord nerve damage in my back. I am able to focus attention to the object being created, rather than the daily pain I endure. Thus years of therapy has resulted in an accumulation of a beautiful collection of one-of a kind items. These products are produced from domestic as well as exotic woods and the prices shown reflect the quality and value of the wood itself and my basic overhead costs, resulting in very little to zero profit. Each piece is given several coatings of a custom mixed oil food-safe finish and hand polished to provide an ultra smooth lasting finish. Own a quality piece of art resembling years gone by, where standing trees once grew plentiful in our untouched virgin American forests.
